In 2005, under the great support of the National Sports Bureau, Sports Bureau of Henan province and Sports Bureau of Zhenghzou municipality, the National Sports Bureau invested 2 million RMB and Shaolin Epo Wushu College invested more than 80 million RMB to build this Shaolin Wushu Culture Exhibition Center--one of the top 20 Sports Sights in China. It will fill the blank that Central China doesn’t have a museum to collect and demonstrate the culture and history of Shaolin Martial Arts. It will also be the symbolical building and sight of Shaolin Scenic Area in Songshan Mountain.
        Shaolin Wushu Culture Exhibition Center lies at the foot of Epo hill in Dengfeng city. The total area is 32 Mu. It echoed with “Wulin Park” and “ Shaolin Wushu Shopping Center” at a distance. This project is planed and designed by architecture department and civil engineering department in Engineering College of Zhengzhou University. This project includes: one multifunction performance hall which is two-storey high and covers an area of 3720 square meters, one exhibition hall full of martial arts weapons, books, dada and pictures which is an important place to show the history of Shaolin martial arts, one training hall which can hold 100 students to train Wushu at the same time, one comprehensive building, which will be a four-star hotel, is five-storey high and covers an area of 9000 square meters, one dinning hall, which will supply all kinds of services with Wushu features, is three-storey high and covers an area of 5580 square meters. Besides, there will be 10000 square meters of green roads and sculptures. The aim of setting Wushu image sculptures and martial arts training outdoor venues is to create a thick atmosphere of the martial arts.
        Shaolin Wushu Culture Exhibition Center will be an integrated comprehensive service sight of Wushu performance, exhibition, research, holiday and food. It wiil be a good place for the tourists and the Wushu fans all over the world to learn and know the culture of Center China. Besides, it is also a comprehensive museum of all Wushu schools.
